The Pendle Way
Pendle Borough Council is proud to support Pendleside Hospice and Positive Action in the Community as part of the Pendle Three Peaks Challenge.
Pendleside Hospice plays a vital role in our local community, supporting over 2,000 people each year who are living with life‑limiting illnesses. With annual operating costs exceeding £6.5 million, more than £5.2 million must be raised through charitable donations to ensure this essential care continues.
Positive Action in the Community also delivers invaluable support across Pendle, working closely with residents to tackle inequalities, promote wellbeing, and strengthen community resilience through practical help, outreach, and advocacy.
Participants are welcome to raise funds for a charity of their choice. As part of the Pendle Three Peaks Challenge, we are proud to shine a spotlight on the amazing work carried out by Pendleside Hospice and Positive Action in the Community, and we would be delighted if walkers chose to support them in celebration of the incredible difference they make to people’s lives across Pendle.
